Blog into Wiki
I was determined to get this done and on the way learned a few new things. Two things users take for granted: security and upgrades. I encountered issues such as spyware, worms and viruses, trojans, ID and credit card thefts, etc. Unfortunately, I panicked and purchased FAKE anti-virus protection but caught myself and canceled my credit card. Even the experienced fall victims to malicious software. So far, no FATAL errors! A Blogger helped me remove PAV.exe spyware which found its way into my computer and I was able to download free anti-malware after reading another Blog about which is the best FREE software to protect my computer. Finally, I was able to link my blog into our class wiki!!! It's intuitive even to someone like me. SO LET'S TALK!!!

Hi Winnie,
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're making a lot of progress! I followed the lead of a student in my last class that used a blog and used the course number and my initials for the blog name. I just used initials in delicious and class number and first name in Flickr. I didn't see your listing for a Flickr page and when I looked under your name, there is another Winnie Feng!!
See you Monday, Cindy
Thanks Cindy for posting. I am trying to see how this works and whether reply all works here as well or whether I should post to your blog instead of posting a reply--comment. With all the blogs and posts listed, I am not sure how best to check all. Seems like too much information in too many places and not all maximally used to communicate. I would be interested to hear back whether you read this post on my blog or your blog. I've copied and pasted same comment. THIS IS A TEST. Thanks, Winnie
